Visa Types

Visas & Work Passes Available in Singapore

Singapore offers several work pass categories, each suited to a different level of seniority, specialization or business activity.

Employment Pass (EP)

Issued to foreign professionals, managers and executives earning at least SGD 5,000 monthly, for roles such as engineering, technology and finance. Employers must prove fair consideration of local candidates. Valid for up to three years, it can be renewed and is assessed under the COMPASS framework.

EntrePass

For entrepreneurs, innovators and investors starting venture-backed or technology-driven businesses in Singapore. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including funding or intellectual property ownership. Valid for one year initially and renewable for two years, provided business spending and local hiring requirements are met.

Personalised Employment Pass (PEP)

For high-earning professionals earning SGD 12,000 (EP holders) or SGD 18,000 (overseas professionals). Not tied to a specific employer, offering flexibility to switch jobs or start a business. Valid for three years, non-renewable, and suited to experienced professionals seeking flexibility.

Tech.Pass

Tailored for experienced tech entrepreneurs and professionals with a proven track record. Applicants must meet criteria such as earning SGD 22,500 monthly or leading successful tech ventures. Allows work, investment or starting a business in Singapore. Valid for two years and renewable under strict conditions.

Training Employment Pass

For foreign trainees in professional, managerial or specialist roles earning at least SGD 3,000 monthly. Facilitates practical training and exposure to Singapore's industries. Valid for up to three months and non-renewable, making it ideal for short-term professional development.

S Pass

For mid-skilled workers earning at least SGD 3,150 per month with relevant qualifications, covering executive-level roles such as operations and administration. Subject to a quota system, and requires employers to pay a foreign worker levy. Valid for up to three years and renewable for subsequent periods.

Immigration Considerations for Singapore

Navigating the complexities of Singapore's immigration system can be challenging, and several factors need to be considered before starting the process:

Is your company registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or other relevant regulatory authorities in Singapore?

Is your employee already residing in Singapore, or will they be relocating from another country?

Does your employee currently hold a valid work pass in Singapore, such as an Employment Pass, S Pass or Work Permit, from a previous job?

Does your employee have any other visa type in Singapore, such as a Dependent's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass or Student Pass?

What is your employee's nationality, and does it meet the eligibility criteria for the specific work pass?

Contact us to get your quotation. Our fees are extremely competitive, and the more foreigners you have the better savings you can achieve.

We work to minimize the time your employees spend at immigration offices and avoid multiple visits caused by incomplete or incorrect submissions.
